What to Expect at the Kilmarnock Farmers Market

What Can You Get There?

The towns of the Northern Neck are known for their farm-to-table and bay-to-table cuisine, including our beautiful town of Irvington, Virginia. Kilmarnock is another excellent option for fresh foods, and their community’s farmers market is a major reason for that! Local vendors show up here with their freshest catches and harvests, bringing you a variety of seafood, meats, fruits, and vegetables to enjoy. You can also find some irresistible baked goods!

When Is It?

The Kilmarnock Farmers Market kicks off every spring, meaning you can look forward to a bountiful selection of food and crafts after a cold winter. This annual series of events takes place on the fourth Saturday of each month from May through October. After a hearty, homemade breakfast at the Hope and Glory Inn, head over to the market and browse the booths from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Where Is It?

Thinking about all the tasty foods is enough to make your mouth water. Don’t just let your stomach growl — head over to the Kilmarnock Town Centre Park when the farmers market is happening. It’s conveniently located on N. Main Street near some of the popular shops, restaurants, and activities in town. It’s a charming, small park that brings the community together for several different events throughout the year. Plus, it’s only ten minutes away from the Hope and Glory Inn!

Tip: Feel free to check out the Kilmarnock Museum or grab a pint at the Kilmarnock Brewhaus while you’re in the area.

Don’t Forget to Check out the Irvington Farmers Market, Too!

We invite you to come back to our lovely town of Irvington to explore our local farmers market as well! The Irvington, VA, Farmers Market is another fantastic source of fresh foods, seasonal ingredients, jewelry, artwork, and even live music performances over in the gazebo. All you need to do is walk to the market from our inn on the first Saturdays of the month from May through November, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. There are over 100 vendors to see there!
