Ceremonies

Here, our unique ceremony sites allow you to exchange your vows in the setting of your dreams. And, if needed, our on-staff officiant will assist you in crafting a ceremony that is truly yours.

Say “I do” on our front steps under the words “Hope and Glory,” while facing the elegant clear tent that lures you within to continue the celebration.

Receptions

When we host a wedding at Hope and Glory Inn, our chef is exclusively yours and your menu can be tailor designed. Whether it’s formal plated, casual food stations, an oyster bar or a bar of grits and crab cakes (we have done that before!), it will be extraordinary.

Accommodations

We have six rooms, six cottages, and a seventh cottage is on the way. If you are expecting 35 guests or more on a weekend, we require that our 12 accommodations, the rooms, and cottages be used for two nights. You and your guests will enjoy the exclusive use of the property for the weekend of your wedding.

A Chesapeake Bay Event Venue for Small Retreats

If you need to hit the books, we’d love to host your corporate meetings, retreats, and other business gatherings. Businesses enjoy working with Hope and Glory Inn for our personalized approach to your event and our small meeting venues and amenities that rival other hotels.

Venues

For starters, our property is fenced and hedged offering a “compound” feel that brings everyone closer together in a garden setting. Our hotel offers 6 schoolhouse rooms, and 7 garden cottages which translates also into 14 bedrooms for attendees.

We provide a variety of meeting facility options. Professional gatherings can select The Colonnade for up to 20; or, up to 10 can meet around our “bar table” in our private dining room. Our micro-vineyard’s clear 20 x40 span outdoor tent is refreshing space for events and meetings up to 80.

The Colonnade is a well-equipped facility with a 13 ft high ceiling, comfortable seating, and flexible table arrangements. The hotel’s kitchen is convenient to The Colonnade and there are two bathrooms. Unique amenities include a gas fireplace for the cooler months; and, an espresso bar to royally treat the coffee lovers. All our meeting spaces are equipped with a technologically advanced WIFI and a SONOS sound system.

Our 800 sq ft tent located in our micro-vineyard out front helps enhance the grandeur of the schoolhouse building and offers an elegant space for al fresca meetings and events. Receptions, lunches and dinner are a few of the uses.

If you’d like to bring your group closer, this venue will encourage all visitors to get to know one another better, share ideas, and participate in activities in a creative atmosphere. The Hope and Glory Inn takes pride that it has taken imperfections and made them perfection. It can do the same for you. What better place to be creative.

Guests will also have access to the entire property for privacy and enjoyment. Breakout sessions may also be held in the Inn, the fountain patio, pool, our bar Detention, the second-floor deck, or in our gardens (a few – weather permitting).
