1. Enjoy Yankee Point Marina Boat Rentals

Did you leave your boat behind for your Northern Neck getaway? You can leave your worries behind, too, because Yankee Point Marina in Lancaster, VA, has excellent rental options. Feel free to rent sunfish boats, deck boats, and even bicycles to enjoy a leisurely ride throughout this peaceful area.

Did you work up an appetite during your boat or bike ride? Yankee Point Marina has your hunger covered, too, with a convenient, on-site restaurant and snack bar. The Windows on the Water restaurant is open on Friday and Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with great happy hour deals and some tasty dinner dishes. 3. Plan a Picnic

Of course, you’re welcome to pack your own food for a delightful meal on the waterfront. There are three extensive picnic areas with grills and shady, 200-year-old oak trees that add a touch of natural scenery. Whether it’s a romantic picnic with your sweetheart or a group outing, you’re in for a great time at one of the best marinas on the Rappahannock River.

4. Go for a Swim

The salt-water pool at Yankee Point Marina opens on Memorial Day Weekend. Slip holders enjoy free admission to the pool, but guests are also welcome to cool off in the water for a small, $5 fee. (Or, if you’re a guest at the Hope and Glory Inn, you can just come back to our property and take a dip in our gorgeous, salt-water pool for free!)
