Did you know that the Irvington, VA, Farmers Market was voted the Best Farmers Market in Eastern Virginia? Visitors have been shopping the market since 2009, and the vendor list continues to grow every year! Dogs are welcome at the market as long as they are well behaved and on a leash. There’s also live music from the gazebo, making for a fun atmosphere!

If you’re still hungry for seafood, as many are when they travel to the Northern Neck of Virginia, you cannot go wrong with visiting Miss Mary’s Seafood. They take pride in catching only the freshest, highest quality seafood available in Irvington. It’s a much-taste! 

Lastly, Dug in Farms is a small sustainable market farm to find flowers, vegetables, and food that are all fresh and local. You’ll find seasonal vegetables, gorgeous blooms, delicious spices, and more!  

When and Where Is it?

The Irvington, VA, Farmers Market is open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on the first Saturday of the month from May to November. You can find this open-air market at Irvington Commons on King Carter Drive, within walking distance of our inn! You could spend a morning at the Farmers Market then continue walking over to SIP and SLURP, our wine tasting room and oyster stand at Dog and Oyster Vineyard. This makes for a great day in Irvington without even having to drive or worry about parking!
