“Top 7 Boutique Hotels in the United States” by The Street

Recently the Hope and Glory Inn was named by the readers of Virginia Living Magazine the #1 Best Bed and Breakfast in Eastern Virginia. Adding to the excitement and honor the Hope and Glory Inn has now been named one of the “Top 7 Boutique Hotels in the United States” by The Street.

The Street, a financial news website, founded by Jim Cramer (Mad Money and Squawk on the Street) sought out the best boutique hotels that have their own unique character, intimate atmosphere and personalized service.

Dawn Allcot of Allcot Media was tapped to assist in the search for independently owned properties with distinct personalities and design aesthetics that set them apart. Travel agent Adeel Khan added that one of the characteristics that set boutique hotels apart as they are “often found in trendy or off-the-beaten-path neighborhoods(towns), providing guests with a unique sense of place and a chance to explore the local culture.

The Hope and Glory was a perfect fit well known for its ambiance and service and offering its guests a secret garden, saltwater pool, open-air garden bath, cruises and two notable restaurants, especially The Colonnade. The other six were located in Denver, CO; Montclair, NJ; Redondo Beach, CA; New Hope. PA; Phoenix, Arizona; and, Palo Alto, CA.

We sincerely thank Dawn and The Street for this recognition and honor.

The Hope and Glory is located in the Chesapeake bay storybook town of Irvington, Virginia which is situated on Virginia’s Northern Neck.
